How do I rent a unit and get access?
Renting is completely digital and instant. Simply select your unit online, complete the quick checkout process, and you will immediately receive a text message and email with your personalized gate access PIN. You can move in right away!
Do I need to bring my own lock?
Yes. To ensure you are the only person with access to your unit, we require all tenants to provide their own secure padlock. We highly recommend a disc-style padlock, as they are designed specifically for self-storage security and are much harder to tamper with than standard padlocks.
Are there long-term contracts or hidden fees?
No. All of our leases are flexible, month-to-month agreements. We do not charge a security deposit. Your total move-in cost will include:
1. Your prorated first month’s rent.
2. A small, one-time administrative fee.
3. A monthly Tenant Protection Plan (TPP) starting at $12/month.
*Note: The TPP fee can be waived if you provide proof of a qualifying homeowners or renters insurance policy that covers stored goods.
Is there someone on-site if I need help?
Ribaut Storage is a fully automated facility, meaning you never have to wait in line at a rental counter. However, you are never on your own! Our dedicated local support team is just a phone call away at (843) 285-6610 and is ready to assist you with unit sizing, account questions, or gate access.
When can I access my storage unit?
Once you are a tenant, you can access the fully fenced and well-lit facility 365 days a year using your secure gate PIN. Our gate access hours are 24/7, 365 days a year.
How do I pay my monthly bill?
For your convenience, all payments are processed digitally. You can log into your secure tenant portal from your smartphone or computer at any time to pay your bill, or you can enroll in AutoPay so you never have to worry about missing a payment or getting a late fee.
